Back to life tomorrow. Still can't dance or work out, which is frustrating, but that will come soon. Been watching lots of great footage, though. Especially enjoyed the DVD Fours by Savion Glover. Highly recommended. Have a great week everybody!

Hey everybody. Welcome to my new blog. I have some down time since I had shoulder surgery on Wednesday (to repair my dislocated shoulder). It's kind of hard to sit still when you're a tap dancer, but I know I need to do it for the long run. Have any of you had a dance injury you had to take time out to recover from? I'd like to hear about your recovery process and any tips to make it faster! So far, I'm trying to eat a lot of protein, and as many healing vitamins as possible...C, E, B, D, etc. Also, I went into the surgery in pretty decent health and with optimal muscle strength...which my doctor, Alan Strizak, says will help my recovery. Hopefully, I'll be good as new right around Christmas. Well, that's the plan. Ha! www.dantelara.net
